An homage to Marajoara pottery, which is inspired by the history of the Marajoara civilization who lived on the shores of Lake Arari in the Marajó Archipelago. The ceramics of this region are characterized by symmetrical and harmonious features, with the use of red and black paint on white engobo and low and high reliefs, notches, applications and other techniques. The artist, Alexandre Dantas, developed in the technique of painting in acrylic oil, had his first contact with art with his father, Raimundo Dantas, and has since established himself as artist in his own right with major exhibitions in 2013 and 2014.
